Why?

With no worship, no devotion
Why do people go about
Apathetic and oblivious,
Hardly giving God a thought?

Searching for some satisfaction,
Some appeasing of the soul,
Many turn to worldly pleasures
That can never fill that hole!

Don't you long to feel that comfort,
That fulfilling glow inside?
You can have it, if you want it,
If you let God be your guide.

Listen now and change your thinking,
Win that vict'ry not yet won!
Give up being god yourself and
Turn to Him who gave His Son!

Don't just play at some religion.
Really seek and serve the Lord.
Get to know our God and Savior
Look with joy to your reward!
