WHAT IS GOD'S GOSPEL MESSAGE THAT WILL SAVE US?
“separated unto the gospel of God” (Romans 1:1)
First, Who is God?
Is He a trinity, or one God?
He is Jehovah the Almighty. Gen. 17:1. Only one can be almighty.
He alone is God. Deut. 4:35. 6:4. Eph. 4:6. 1 Cor. 8:6. Isa. 44:6, 8.
He alone created the heavens and the earth. Gen. 2:4. Job 8:9. Isa. 44:24.
He is the Father of Jesus Christ. Rom. 15:6. Matt. 3:17. 16:16. John 11:41.
He is the God of Jesus. John 20:17. Eph. 1:17. Rev. 3:12.
He loves us and gave His Son to save us. John 3:16.
We are to love Him with all our heart—Jesus, in Matt. 22:37-39.
He is “the only true God” (John 17:3). There is no trinity.
He commanded Jesus what to speak. John 12:49,50. Deut. 18:18,19
Jesus is the Son of God because He was miraculously brought into existence
(begotten) in the womb of Mary (Luke 1:35; Matt. 1:18, 20).
WHAT IS THE GOSPEL JESUS AND THE APOSTLES PREACHED?
It Has Two Parts
1. The Gospel of the coming Kingdom of God
Mark 1:14,15. “Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying…repent…and believe the gospel.”

Rev. 11:15-18. 1:5-7. 17:14. 19:11-21. 20:4,6.
10. Christ and His people shall reign on earth 1000 years. Dan. 7:13,14, 18, 22,27.
Rev. 20:4,6. 2:26-27.
11. Christ and His people shall judge all men. Acts 17:31. Psa. 149:5-9.
12. When they have put down all enemies, the last being death, Christ will turn
over the perfect Kingdom to His Father, “that GOD may be all in all”.
1 Cor. 15:24-28.
Acts 8:5, 12. Philip went down to Samaria and preached Christ to them.
What did he preach? “When they believed Philip preaching the things
concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were
baptized, both men and women.”
Acts 19:8-20. For two years Paul preached the Kingdom and Christ at Ephesus
Acts 28:30-31. Paul in Rome was “preaching the kingdom of God, and
teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ.”
God has informed us of His plans for earth and mankind: He plans to restore this devastated earth and believing men back to what they were like when He created them. He will do this through establishing His own Kingdom over earth when His Son returns, and resurrecting His own people to Everlasting Life.
The way men become eligible to be in that everlasting Kingdom of righteousness and peace is by the second part of the Gospel, our accepting Christ as our Savior, being baptized, and living a life dedicated to God and to Christ.
Paul said, “Though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto
you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed” (Gal. 1:8).
Sadly, other teachings are being taught as gospel which are not true and they deceive men. Some of these teachings are: there is a trinity of Gods, Jesus preexisted, men are immortal by nature and their immortal souls go to heaven or hell at death, wicked men will burn forever, heaven is our goal, etc.
This violates Christ’s message of the Kingdom of God coming to earth, and eternal life being given worthy persons at the resurrection at Christ’s second coming. It says that we have immortality now without Christ and that God’s plan is for faithful men to go to heaven to be with Him. It is another gospel.
Jesus said, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”
(John 8:32). Paul told Timothy, “Take heed to thyself , and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee” (1 Tim. 4:16).
The reward for believing the gospel of Christ is eternal life in God’s everlasting Kingdom. The penalty for unbelief is to be accursed, and be destroyed
Forever in the Lake of Fire. Matt. 7:13,14. John 3:16,36. Matt. 25:31-46. Rev. 20
