Their parents were told they
could kill them -- legally.
Here is "the rest of the story" by Harley Pinon

How do I know the story? I know the story because I am the father of Andy on the left, and the grandfather of Abby on the right. Carolyn was informed by her Doctor that, by law, he must inform her of "her rights." Since she would be almost 40 years old when Andy was born, there was an increased likelihood of a birth defect. That being the case, we had to be informed that we had the right to have our unborn son killed by the process called abortion.
I guess history has a way of repeating itself. Our son, Andy, and his wife were told a similar story about Abby. A test had been run which told them there was a slight chance that Abby might be born with Downs Syndrome. If they would rather not take the chance and "play it safe," they could have Abby aborted.
Had we, and later Andy and his wife Claire, listened to the Doctors as we were advised of our "legal rights," the pictures on this page would have never been. Instead of listening the doctors advise, we prayed fervently for our unborn children that they would be born perfect, and complete in everyway. Years later, we prayed for our unborn granddaughter, Abby.
God heard our prayers! We are blessed! With our faith in God, and our conviction that life is precious and important, we have our Andy. We encouraged Andy and Claire to keep Abby. We are all thankful for the outcome. Abby is a beautiful little girl who was just a little over three in the picture below.

God is so good! Andy and Abby are both fine. We thank God for them, and they make our family complete. My heart goes out to those who have missed the joy of some of their children whom they never knew because they took "the safe way" and aborted their unborn children.
Not all stories would end as happily as ours. There are young unmarried mother's who are afraid and do not know what to do. What is God's way? God's way is to keep ourselves pure for our future companion. Then get married, and then "Enjoy the Rites of Matrimony" and bring children into a home where they can be loved and cared for. When God's pattern is broken, headaches and heartaches result.
For those who have made mistakes, it doesn't mean there is no hope, because God is a God of forgiveness. If you have lived a life according to God's plan, then be thankful. If you have made mistakes, ask God to help you with your life. If you aren't a Christian, I recommend my article: How Does One Become a Christian.
Abortion is not an answer. Abortion is all about death. Death is of the devil. Witness Halloween: skeletons, ghosts, witches, devils, monsters, blood, the grim reaper, grave stones with RIP, and the list goes on. God is not about death. Jesus said, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." (John 10:10 NKJV) In Christ, there is life, joy and happiness. We thank God for our family: all of our family:
