Servants of the Lord Above

We are servants of the Lord above,
Who, though not seen, is always near,
Near and caring for those He loves,
Loves so much we should never fear,
Never fear when comes a test,
A test to see if we really trust,
Really trust that God knows best,
Best when things go wrong, and must,
Yes, must be left in God's control,
Control, all knowing and divine,
Divine love caring for my soul,
And for others as for mine,
As he leads us in the way,
Fitting us to serve Him here,
Making ready for that Day
When there's nothing more to fear,
For with Him we'll ever be,
Glad, rejoicing in our place,
Saved throughout eternity,
Safe in Jesus and His grace.
