Procrastination

Energy is gone.
Things I've left undone
Just keep piling up.
Think I'll take a sup -
Something for my head
'Fore I go to bed.
Need to make a call.
Why do I just stall?
Guilt is setting in.
Help me, Lord, to win
The battle in my mind.
You know I'm so inclined
To put things off too long.
That's been my lifelong song.
Why is it so hard
To live a life unmarred
By things I fail to do?
I need to be made new.
Help me, Lord, just now!
Will you show me how?
