Today we mourn the passing
Of this good and gentle man,
Whose life and thoughts were focused
On the Lord's eternal plan.

He now is being laid to rest
With his dear Ora Lee,
Awaiting resurrection and
The glory that shall be.

All that the world can offer
Can't in any way compare
To the blessings kept in store for those
Whose treasures are up there.
 

When the Lord comes forth from heaven
He will  gather all His own
Then He'll escort us to heaven
Where we'll gather 'round the throne
 

Our Father waits expectantly
With blessings not yet seen,
Lovingly prepared for all
Who love and trust in Him.
 

So if Cled could speak to us 
And share some thoughts today,
Just knowing his devotion,
I think he'd like to say:

"Please seek, in your endeavors,
To be among the blest,
And give yourself to being
An example to the rest."

"Stay true to God unto the end,
And don't turn from the Lord,
But stay committed unto Him,
E'en though the way is hard."

"For now by faith we see the end
When things will be made right,
So, please, stand fast in faith and hope
By following His light."

"Because He'll lead us in the way
Of righteousness and grace,
And bring us to that glorious day
When we'll behold His face."

One last thing that Cled might say
To those he kept in prayer:
"On that great day, I'll look for you,
So, please, . . . Be sure you're there."
