I TURN TO YOU, MY FATHER

Sometimes I’m faced with hardships

That drive me to despair

I lift my eyes to heaven

And seek my strength from there

I come to You, my Father

Into Your holy place

To ask for strength and mercy

Before Your throne of grace

 Sometimes I’m tempted sorely

And foolishly I sin

I turn to You, my Father

To cleanse me from within

I come to You, my Father

Sometimes I get discouraged

When walking in the way

I cry to You, my Father

Don’t let me lose my way
