Creation or Evolution?

Men ask: 'What is man?' - Yes, the question is old.
Do we go to the source where we really are told
By the One who knows all, without any doubt,
Exactly what mankind is truly about?
Or do you put trust - in men who can't know,
Who have no foundation and no way to show
Concerning beginnings and things they declare
Which don't fit the facts - such ignorance they share!

They have no support in the fossil accounts,
And thermodynamics their story discounts.
Accepting weird theories quite loaded with flaws,
They say the world happened - without any cause.
They thus do away with the notion of God,
Resisting His presence, refusing to nod
In acknowledgment of His superior mind -
Denying His genius, they choose to be blind!

So where will you look, and where lies your answer:
Don't trust in their lies that can eat like a cancer,                                                            To rob you of faith, with no God to care

For your future life, leaving only despair.

But look in God's Book where the real truth is told                                                      In which lies our hope in the good Shepherd's fold.                                                     For when it's all over and this life is done,                                                               We'll stand in His presence, the victory won.
