Becky Rene
she tells a bit about herself:
Hi everyone,
My name is Becky Rene and I was born in Le Mans, France, in 1990. I am sixteen. My mom is American and my daddy is English. That is pretty mixed up isn't it?
We lived in France for 6 months and then we lived in England for about 8 years. We now live in the U.S. My mom was in the U.S. Air Force then and we used to move around a lot. She works for the government in Washington D.C. Now so we do not move around as much any more. But she still gets to go on trips and I get to go with her sometimes.
I have attended regular school but that was just for a little while. I have been home-schooled most of my life and right now I go to a "school" with three other girls. When I graduate and go to college I will probably go to the same college in California as my friend Amanda.
I am learning to drive right now, and I go to Karate. I have an orange belt. I also like playing all sports but I like soccer the best. I also like all kinds of music, even really old music from the 60s. So I like bands and artists like Elvis, The Beatles, Abba, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Britney Spears, etc. (Do not worry, I check to make sure the lyrics are not bad first).
When I was little, we used to go to a Baptist church but then we stopped. But I still read my Bible everyday. When I was twelve (this was in England), I went to a meeting in the chapel on the base where we were stationed. I thought it was a Methodist or Baptist meeting or something like that but it was not. The preacher, Steve, preached a very good lesson and at the end he gave an invitation to obey the gospel. But I did not even know what he was talking about. So I talked to him and, after some studies, I was baptized to wash away my sins. It was not a Methodist or Baptist meeting at all it was a meeting of the Church of Christ.
