Are You Ready To Be Baptised?

Introduction

 

1. This is a lesson for girls who want to be baptised.

 

2. I am making this lesson because when I was ready to be baptised I had a lesson with Steve and I realized there were some things I did not understand; so it was good that he had that lesson with me.

 

3. So if you want to be baptised then I think you should listen to this lesson very carefully.

 

4. There are four different parts...

 

a. Part one is about what you believe.

 

b. Part two is about repentance.

 

c. Part three is about confessing.

 

d. Part four is about baptism.

 

e. Part five is counting the cost.

 

f. Part six is about being a faithful Christian.

 

5. So this is what you have to do:

 

a. Just read through all the questions carefully and then check the box that you think has the right answer.

 

b. When you have finished, give the sheet back to me and I will see how you did.

Q1. Who is Jesus?

II. Why Do You Want To Be Baptized?

 

A. Now, I gave you all a lesson and so I am going to ask you these questions and you have to put a check next to your answer. It is very important that you put the answer that is in your head:

 

1. Are you a Christian?

d. It does not matter does it? □

 

2. What made you want to be baptized?

 

a. My parents want me to be baptized □

 

b. Our preacher wants me to be baptized □

d. It will stop people nagging me about it all the time □

 

e. I want to be forgiven of my sins □

 

f. Well, Jesus was baptised □

 

g. You should if you are a Christian □

 

h. I do not really know why I want to be baptised □

 

i. Because it is exciting and fun □

 

3. What is your reason for being baptised?

 

a. To let everyone know I am saved □

 

b. To be forgiven of my sins □

 

c. To get a certificate, yay! □

 

4. What happens when you are baptised?

 

a. You get wet □

 

b. God washes away your sins □

 

c. You feel really good about yourself □

 

5. When did you become a Christian?

 

a. You are not a Christian until you are baptised □

 

b. When I prayed for Jesus to come into my heart □

 

c. I was born a Christian □
